On Saturday night, April 2nd, one person was murdered and 11 people were injured in a shooting at a concert in Southern Dallas.

The incident occurred at approximately 12:13 a.m. at a trail ride and concert on 5050 Cleveland Road in Dallas, according to the Dallas Police Department.

Officers learned that 11 people had been wounded, including three juveniles, who were all sent to a nearby hospital. One person is critically injured, while the others are in stable condition.

Kealon Dejuane Gilmore, 26, was discovered near the stage with a gunshot wound to the head. Gilmore perished at the scene.

According to police, an initial investigation found that during the celebration, someone discharged a shot into the air, followed by another individual firing a gun into the audience.

The probe into the shooting is still underway, and the reason, as well as the motive and circumstances surrounding this murder, are being looked into.
