One person was killed and numerous others were injured in a shooting at a Taft Memorial Day celebration.

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation has reported that one person has been killed and 7 others have been shot. Victim ages range from 9 to 56-years-old.

A suspect has surrendered after the fatal shooting. OSBI reported that Skyler Buckner surrendered to law enforcement on Sunday around 4 p.m.

BREAKING: OSBI says a man has turned himself in for the deadly shooting at the Memorial Day event in Taft, Oklahoma overnight.

The OSBI confirmed that one person was killed and seven others, including two minors, sustained gunshot wounds. The identities of the victims and the extent of their injuries remain unknown.

“We saw bodies, people hitting the floor, everybody is screaming, kids running around,” said an unidentified witness.

The outdoor festival presumably drew 1,500 attendees, per officials. The OSBI reports that a fight happened, and subsequent gunfire ensued.
