The victim of a homicide on S. Jefferson Street on Sunday morning was 19-year-old Isaiah Smith of Sherwood, according to Little Rock police.
Police were called to the scene, where they discovered Smith with a gunshot wound, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Smith had previously been wanted in connection with a shooting on Labette Manor Drive in early June. A pregnant woman was shot, and her 2 unborn babies died as a result of her injuries.
Officers from the Little Rock Police Department were looking for Smith in connection with the shooting on Labette Manor Drive.
In connection with the alleged shooting of the pregnant victim, Smith was sought on two counts of first-degree murder and battery.
Following the homicide on S. Jefferson Street, police have not released any information about potential suspects in Smith’s fatal shooting, but have stated that the investigation is ongoing.
