Five people were shot Saturday night in front of a Waffle House near Centennial Park in Atlanta, according to a report.

According to WSB-TV, Atlanta Police said a tussle broke out on Centennial Olympic Park Drive before gunfire erupted at approximately 10:00 p.m.

Police responded to a report of a shooting and discovered three gunshot victims on the scene.

According to CBS 46, two additional victims carjacked a valet and drove the car to Grady Hospital for medical care. Cops located three firearms and the stolen vehicle.

Deputy Chief Timothy Peek of the Atlanta Police Department said his department received 911 calls about a group of teenagers on scooters who may have been involved in the altercation.

“We have not had the opportunity to determine whether they were directly involved with this incident but, of course, that will be a part of the investigation,” Peek said.

“There were a number of scooters that were on scene when we got here. Now, how they got here and who was using them, we’ll have to figure that piece out.”

“What we’ll say is that the investigators are certainly still working in turning over every leaf to determine what happened,” Peek said.
