A 6-year-old boy was sexually abused in a bathroom at McDonald’s flagship restaurant on Clark Street in River North, according to Chicago police.
According to police, the small boy was in the bathroom shortly before 6 p.m. on Saturday when the suspect entered a stall and sexually abused him.
When security attempted to intervene, the suspect allegedly retaliated, but he was held in custody and subsequently arrested when police arrived. Charges are pending. The child was transported to Lurie Children’s Hospital.
In 2020, another man was arrested and charged with raping a 3-year-old girl inside the same McDonald’s bathroom.
