7 People Hospitalized After Mass Shooting in Orlando, Florida

At least seven people were shot and hospitalized after a brawl in downtown Orlando, Florida, on Sunday.

The violence erupted at 2 a.m. on Sunday after a large brawl broke out, according to Orlando Police Chief Eric D. Smith.

According to NBC2, seven people were injured when an unidentified shooter pulled out a handgun and fired into the crowd.

Smith stated that all seven victims were transported to a nearby hospital where their conditions were listed as stable.

The authorities have no description of the attacker at this time.

This year has seen at least 381 mass shootings in the United States, according to the non-profit Gun Violence Archive. That is an average of greater than 1.7 mass shootings per day.
