D.J. Wilson, a 7-year-old boy, was honored by emergency responders to emphasize the significance of youngsters knowing what to do in the event of an emergency.

According to OEMC officials, Johnson performed something that not many children his age can really do. Johnson promptly dialed 911 after his mother had a seizure on May 30.

Johnson was presented with a award for his courage and then given a tour of the OMEC facility and a firehouse.

According to emergency personnel, the incident serves as a good reaffirmation for parents to teach their kids how to contact 911.
