A Las Vegas man was arrested on suspicion of murdering his girlfriend’s 4 year old son and storing his body in the garage freezer for 6 weeks until the boy’s big sister sneaked a note from their mother to school asserting she was being held captive.

Brandon Toseland, 35, was arrested on 2 kidnapping charges and an add’l charge of open murder on Tuesday, according to 8 News Now.

He was arrested after his girlfriend sent a letter to school with her older daughter asserting she was being held against her will in the residence she shared with Toseland. She had also not seen her son since December 11, according to the report.

When the young girl’s elementary school teacher spotted the note, she notified LVMPD officers just after 8 a.m., and police initiated surveillance on the family’s northeast Las Vegas home.

According to authorities, the mom told officers during an interrogation that she was being tortured by Toseland and had been ordered not to go near the garage and don’t even about her missing child.

She continued by stating that she felt her child was already deceased.
