Anne Heche is fighting for her life, according to Page Six.

Following Friday’s fiery car accident, the actress’ representative reported on Monday that she is “in critical condition.”

“Shortly after the accident, Anne Heche became unconscious and slipped into a coma,” according to a statement from her spokesperson.

“She has a significant pulmonary injury requiring mechanical ventilation and burns that require surgical intervention.”

Page Six reported earlier on Monday that the Los Angeles Police Department had obtained a warrant to evaluate the “Vanished” actress’ blood to assess if she was under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time of the crash.

Heche, 53, may have been incapacitated when she crashed her blue Mini Cooper into a Los Angeles residence, sparking a major fire that badly burned her and her vehicle.’

“The info we received this morning was a warrant that was obtained the same day as the traffic collision, which was Aug. 5. The warrant was to draw blood, and an investigation is ongoing pending the blood test results,” a rep for the LAPD told the outlet.

“If found intoxicated, [Heche] could be charged with misdemeanor DUI hit and run. No arrests have been made so far.”

A red-capped drink could be seen in the cupholder of Heche’s car in a picture taken before the accident, according to TMZ.

According to eyewitness accounts, the actress initially collided with the carport of a neighboring apartment complex before reversing course and fleeing before residents could assist her.

The West Traffic Division of the LAPD has confirmed that she collided with some other vehicle before crashing into the nearby home.

Photos from the scene illustrated the “Six Days Seven Nights” actress being placed on a gurney and displaying severe back injuries, while aerial photographs revealed smoke billowing from the house she drove into and countless fire trucks surrounding the area.

“I drank. I smoked. I did drugs. I had sex with people. I did anything I could to get the shame out of my life,” she told ABC News in 2020, describing that her father sexually assaulted her for the majority of her childhood.

At the time, the “Hung” star stated, “I’m not crazy.” “But it’s a crazy life. I was raised in a crazy family. And it took 31 years to get the crazy out of me.”
