According to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the right engine of the Boeing 777-200 failed shortly after take-off. That led to parts of the plane breaking off and landing in front yards, streets and parks.
Broomfield Police said that they had received countless reports that people heard a loud explosion, and then they saw what they thought was a plane was going down.
