The Collier County Sheriff’s Office released a video on Friday of first responders tending to a tiger attack victim on Tuesday.

A tiger attack occurred after a worker of Wooten’s Everglades Airboat Tours entered the enclosure while its owner was feeding the animal, according to the sheriff’s office.

The employee, 48-year-old Ignacio “Nacho” Meabe Martinez, was not permitted to be with the tiger at the time of the incident, according to deputies.

“Nacho, what were you doing in the cage?” a deputy questioned, bandaging the man’s bloodied arms.

However, a guy in the video stated that he believed Meabe Martinez was not in the cage but instead wasdragged in by the tiger.

According to the deputy, Meabe Martinez’s injuries did appear to be bone-deep but did not appear to have ruptured any of his arteries. According to the deputy, the tiger also tore off a portion of his middle finger.

“Am I f—king dead?”  As he groaned in pain, the man asked.

Meabe Martinez was transported to a nearby hospital by Collier County EMS. The incident is being investigated by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC).
