According to the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office, Atlanta rapper John Michael Hakeem Gibson, better known as Cash Out, is in jail on multiple counts of rape, sex trafficking, and prostitution.

Pyrez Music Group LLC was set up by Gibson and four others to publicize the rapper’s music and label, according to the indictment.

There have been accusations against defendants who are accused of coercing young women into engaging in commercial sexual activity through the use of the business.

“The most troubling aspect of this case is that women have been victimized and brutalized within our community by people who had a chance to do something else with their lives,” Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis said.

According to reports, the women had high hopes for advancement in the company, both in terms of financial opportunities and in terms of power and influence.

The other defendants listed in the indictment are:

  • Linda Smith AKA Morenika Vinie and “Mama Cash Out”
  • Kierra Danieele Adams AKA “Boots”
  • Tyrone Orlando Taylor AKA “Rooskie”
  • Demetrius Lamont Edwards AKA “Drama”

Cash Out is charged with 13 counts, including racketeering, human trafficking for sexual servitude, rape, and aggravated sodomy. The indictment specifics the alleged events in a hotel room off Fulton Industrial Boulevard in Atlanta.
