Rappers And Celebs React To Trouble Passing Diddy, 2 Chainz, Zaytoven Mike Will, Dave East
According to a well-known hip hop record label, an Atlanta rapper died unexpectedly.
Trouble’s death was confirmed by Def Jam Recordings, who posted an image of the rapper on Instagram along with a brief statement.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with the children, loved ones and fans of Trouble,” the label wrote. “A true voice for his city and an inspiration to the community he proudly represented.”
According to Variety, the “Bring It Back” rapper, also known as Skoob, was reportedly caught in a fatal shooting altercation while sitting in his car in Atlanta on Saturday night. He had performed the same evening, just hours before the shooting.
Trouble, real name Mariel Semonte Orr, was born in Atlanta and released his debut mixtape in 2011, which included the song “Bussin’,” which has over 2.7 million views on YouTube.
Since then, he’s worked with other Atlanta-area artists such as Quavo, a member of the group Migos, 2 Chainz, and Jeezy.
He collaborated on two albums with producer Mike WiLL Made-It, who is known for working with Atlanta natives such as Gucci Mane, Future, Waka Flocka Flame, 2 Chainz, and Ludacris.
