A suburban worker was beaten and carjacked outside of a restaurant in broad daylight earlier this week, in a horrific encounter captured on video.

The victim, known as Rogelio, states he was on his way to the restaurant when he was ambushed by the assailants, one of them had a weapon.

As Rogelio attempted to take the weapon away from the attacker, a tussle started. The driver of the white car then exits the vehicle and restrains the worker, as seen on video. The other assailant then kicked Rogelio in the face, which he believes temporarily knocked him out.

As Rogelio raced back inside the restaurant after the attackers stole his wallet and keys and fled the area in the car.
