After Kelis directly accused her of “theft,” Beyoncé discreetly removed her sample of “Milkshake” from one of her new song “Energy.”

The selected sample beat is no longer available through streaming services for Queen Bey’s “Renaissance” album, and Kelis’ name has also been removed from the credits, according to PageSix.

Kelis has not yet responded officially to the edit.

The change occurred just a few days after Kelis, 42, accused people in the music business of treating her with “no soul or integrity.”

Kelis responded to an Instagram user who praised the song as “the collab the world really needs,” saying, “It’s not a collab, it’s theft.”

Beyoncé made the decision after having to return to the editing room to eliminate the word “spaz” from yet another track on her latest album, “Renaissance,” due to claims that it was “ableist.”
