Brothers Arrested For Planning & Filming Fake Stabbing "Prank" For Social Media

Two brothers faked a stabbing in their Maryland kitchen—complete with a puddle of fake blood—and then called a crowd of police officers and first responders to the scene as a social media prank, police said Thursday.

The hoax was exposed when Denidson Jean, a 21-year-old that was “stabbed” by his brother—was receiving first aid from a cop—suddenly got up from the fake-blooded floor, police said.

Four other people who were obviously not in the prank were shouting and crying inside the home, the police said.

Denidson and Pierre were arrested on the scene on 8 February on charges of intentionally making a false call for an ambulance and making false statements to an officer.
