According to KUTV2, in the wake of Saturday’s mass shooting in Buffalo, New York, a Tops supermarket employee asserted that a 911 dispatcher hung up on her when she tried to call for help, according to local news media.

Executive press secretary for Erie County, Peter Anderson, told Fox News Digital that the dispatcher has been placed on administrative leave “pending a disciplinary hearing,” which is expected to take place the week of May 30 and at which a “termination will be sought.”

According to Anderson, an investigation was launched immediately after the shooting, which occurred May 15, and the person involved was placed on administrative leave on May 16.
