On Thursday afternoon, a Burger King employee was arrested after shooting at a customer at a Burger King in northwest Miami-Dade County, according to WPLG.

Shateasha Hicks, 30, was identified by police as the employee.

Officers say it all started when a man pulled up to the Burger King drive-thru in the 4700 block of Northwest 167th Street shortly after 4 p.m.

Hicks had been seen arguing with the customer when he abruptly drove away, and witnesses claim Hicks then left the restaurant and grabbed a gun from her vehicle.

According to police, she let off five shots at the vehicle as the man sped away.

Hicks then fled the scene in her own vehicle, according to investigators, but was apprehended after officers discovered it abandoned about a mile from her residence.
