A naked Florida man was arrested on Saturday after allegedly murdering a woman and her infant child, then killing another person and injuring several others as he fled, according to police.
WSVN reported that Dan Spidle, 35, was involved in three separate hit-and-run accidents and gunned down the driver of one of the vehicles he struck.
Police say Spidle began his deranged murderous rampage at an apartment complex in Coral Springs, where he murdered a woman and fatally wounded her 1-year-old child.
According to local reports, the infant was pronounced deceased at a nearby hospital.
It is unknown how the two were murdered.
Local 10 reported that Spidle was involved in a hit-and-run accident at the intersection of West Sample Road and Powerline Road in Pompano Beach while driving a silver 2019 Kia.
Afterward, he was engaged in a four-vehicle crash near the intersection of Powerline and Sample roads in Coconut Creek.
According to police, he gunned down the driver of a white pickup truck he had struck, and two others were badly hurt in the accident. Then, Spidle managed to flee in the truck.
Again, Spidle crashed outside a Coconut Creek Walgreens at the intersection of Sample Road and Lyons Road. Authorities say he fled in the stolen vehicle and tried to steal a woman’s necklace.
When officers from Coconut Creek arrived, he was walking around with his ‘ass out.’
WSVN reported that he was arrested and faces charges of murder, burglary, and fleeing the scene of multiple accidents.
