DaBaby Reportedly Sued By Miami Concert Promoter Over Apple Juice Beat Down Case

Concert promoter Kenneth Carey just filed suit against DaBaby, his entertainment company and the entourage that was with him that day.

Kenneth now claims in legal docs, obtained by TMZ, that he and DaBaby agreed to have DaBaby host a party where another artist, Stunna 4 Vegas, had been booked to perform at. Ken says he and DaBaby agreed on a flat rate of $20k.

Also in the lawsuit, the promoter states he setup hotels and rental cars for DaBaby and his people and that one of those vehicles were eventually returned damage. The $10k worth of damage was billed to Dababy’s company.

DaBaby asked Carey for an extra $10,000 to recoup the loss when it was time to pay the original booking fee. The promoter refused to pay $30k instead of the $20k that was originally agreed upon, leading to the beatdown that was caught on camera.

Carey says DaBaby and four other men attacked him, pulled his pants down and poured apple juice on him. The lawsuit and police report claim his phone, credit cards and some cash were stolen. The promoter also alleges DaBaby and Stunna never showed up to the party they were booked for either.

Ken is suing battery, breach of contract, defamation, intentional infliction of emotional distress . He wants $6 million.
