Netflix Removes ‘Chappelle’s Show’ After Request From Dave Chappelle

According to Deadline, Dave Chappelle let it be known that he did not approve of ViacomCBS licensing his Comedy Central series, Chappelle’s Show, without him ever being paid for it. During his recent Saturday Night Live monologue, he mentioned it, and know he has used his power to make something happen

In a video, he posted to social media this morning, Dave says he asked Netflix, whom he has a deal with, to remove ‘Chappelle’s Show’.

Netflix honored his request and removed the show last night. Chappelle’s Show, owned by ViacomCBS, is still available on the company’s Comedy Central and CBS All Access outlets and was also recently licensed by HBO Max.
