A man was arrested and charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child in Texas after the mother of a 7-year-old girl discovered him naked in bed with her.

The woman reportedly called 911 around 1 a.m. on August 8, 2021, when she discovered her boyfriend in bed.

The man was identified in the police report as 29-year-old Delmer Orlando Ortiz Licona, according to KCBD. His name at the Lubbock County Detention Center is Orlando Delmer-Ortiz, according to WSMV.

“What are you doing to her?” the woman yelled when she called 911. She then informed the dispatcher that an officer was needed at her residence.

“I just found my man, huh, whoever lives with me, naked in the bed with my daughter,” she said. “Please hurry. He’s running away. Please hurry.”

When the dispatcher asked, “And he’s your boyfriend?”

The woman responded, “He’s supposed to be, but you hurry up or I’m going to kill him. I’m going to f*****g kill him. Please hurry, please hurry. I’m fixing to kill him, hurry please, please hurry, please f*****g hurry. He’s jumping the fence. He’s f*****g jumping the fence. Hurry.”

The 911 operator heard the woman instruct the child to enter the vehicle. The dispatcher inquired as to the well-being of the child. The woman responded, “Yes, I got home just on time.”

She informed the 911 operator that she was following the male and that she would not deal with the situation.

The 911 operator then heard a loud noise that sounded like something had been struck, and a young girl began screaming and crying. The dispatcher overheard someone requesting an ambulance.

The 911 operator inquired, “Did you just hit him?”

The woman continued by explaining that Licona jumped in front of her vehicle, causing her to hit him. She reported that he was passed out drunk, but that everyone was fine.

In March, investigators were assigned to the assault case, and the woman agreed to bring the child in for a forensic interview. The child provided specific information regarding the assault.

In April, authorities attempted to contact Licona about the sexual abuse investigation, but he repeatedly failed to appear for scheduled meetings with the investigator, according to police reports.

The case was presented to the district attorney’s office for prosecution.
