Deshaun Watson, the quarterback for the Houston Texans, was accused of sexual assault and a lawsuit filed three weeks ago today. The complainant, who had previously sued under the alias Jane Doe, revealed her name and held a press conference with the media on Tuesday.
Ashley Solis spoke out about her encounters with Watson at a press conference called by attorney Tony Buzbee.
On March 30, 2020, she said Watson assaulted and harassed her “in my own home, doing what I love most, massage therapy.”
Solis claims she’s still struggling with post-traumatic stress from the attack, including the shakes, which prevents her from doing her job effectively.
Watson, for his part, has denied all allegations of misconduct and claims to have turned down settlement offers from the early accusers.
The Houston Police Department announced that an investigation into the Watson allegations has been launched, though no charges have been filed as of yet.
