According to numerous sources, DMX’s family says they are not in need of any money from anyone and if you hear different, it’s a lie.

The family told TMZ there have been a lot of rumors after DMX’s passing and one they want to put a nail in is…them needing money from the public.

Anyone and/or organization saying they are asking for money for DMX’s funeral expenses is liars and are not connected to the family. The family also stated the they are not selling any DMX merchandise at this time and if you see it out and about, the family didn’t authorize it.

The rumor that Jay-Z and Beyonce are buying DMX’s masters for $10 Million is also false.

“There have been a few rumours following our loved one, Earl Simmons’, passing that we’d like to clear up”, the family say. “No one has bought Earl’s masters. Additionally, we are not selling any merch or raising money for Earl’s funeral. If anyone is requesting money for his funeral please be aware the person is a scammer. We will keep the public posted on funeral/memorial service arrangements”.
