Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine, co-founders of Beats, have collaborated with the Los Angeles Unified School District to open a highly innovative high school in the fall of 2022, which will serve roughly 124 9th and 10th graders, according to Billboard.

The new institution, tentatively dubbed Regional High School No. 1, will provides a different curriculum that emphasizes diverse, hands-on education and real-world applications.

Its goal is to follow in the footsteps of the USC Iovine and Young Academy, which managed to open to college students in 2014 with a focus on design, business, and technology thanks to a $70 million grant from the duo. Regional High School No. 1 will be built on the grounds of South Los Angeles’ Audubon Middle School.
