Dr. Dre's Ex-Wife Files Restraining Order Against Rapper

According to The Blast, Nicole Young is asking the court to order Dr. Dre to remain 100 yards away from her Malibu house, according to new legal papers filed in the couple’s divorce.

Young also requests that Dr. Dre refrain from contacting her in any way, including in person, by email, or text messages, in the documents.

Dre’s ex-wife claims she has been getting death threats from his vast fan base and fears she will continue to receive them in documents filed by famous divorce lawyer Samantha Spector.

Nicole says she has received threatening text messages from the ‘Beats’ owner and is requesting that he be ordered not to reach out to her any longer. Young has been staying in the couple’s Malibu beach house since their separation, and she is asking a judge to order Dr. Dre to stay away from the property.

This is not the first time that Nicole has filed papers detailing alleged abuse. She stated in court documents, “During our marriage, I considered calling the police several times; but, as I fell deeper into the abusive relationship, my fear of Andre outweighed any confidence I had that the police could help me,” she said.
