A heartbroken family wants justice for a mother who was shot and killed inside her home on the west side of Detroit over the weekend.
On Sunday, 36-year-old Princess Dobbs was shot and killed. Precious Dobbs and her sister Princess were inside the house with their four children when bullets began to fly. Princess was struck in one of her thigh’s major arteries before passing away in Precious’ arms, WXYZ reported.
“Y’all took my sister away from me. Like y’all took my sister away from me,” Precious Dobbs said.
The police are still searching for the perpetrator. It is believed that the shooter fled in a light-colored sedan, presumably a Chevrolet Cruz. A portion of the incident was captured by the Ring camera of a neighbor.
“I’m happy that my neighbors had the Ring alarms that caught it on camera, but we don’t know who they are. Never seen them. Never seen the car,” Precious said.
Princess leaves behind three children, one of whom is two years old.
