Six teenagers have been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting at Black Bob Park in Olathe on Saturday, according to KCUR.

Four of them are being tried as adults by the Johnson County District Attorney’s Office.

Two teenage girls, one 13 and the other 14, appeared in Johnson County court Wednesday morning to face charges in connection with a fatal shooting Saturday morning in an Olathe, Kansas park.

Both girls face first-degree murder charges in the death of Marco Cardino, 19, of Smithville, Missouri.

They are the fifth and sixth teenagers charged with murder in Cardino’s death, which took place early Saturday at 14500 West 151st Street in Black Bob Park.

According to court records, the District Attorney’s Office has asked the court to try the 14-year-old girl as an adult.

The Johnson County District Attorney’s office officially confirmed that four other juveniles had been arrested and charged with first-degree murder in Cardino’s death.

Three of the 14-year-olds and one of the 13-year-olds are from Olathe. Because they are all minors, the Post will not name them.

In addition, the DA’s office is attempting to certify three of the teens as adults in the case.

According to Fox 4, the DA’s office stated that the incident Saturday morning was the result of a drug deal, which led to a robbery and then a shooting, but a DA spokesperson declined to comment when asked by the Post on Wednesday.

Cardino was discovered shot to death in his car.
