Prosecutors revealed last week that a former Pennsylvania cop already facing over 100 child molestation accusations was charged with sexually abusing a fifth adolescent victim.
According to the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office, the newest complainant to accuse former Warminster Township police officer James Carey stepped forward just moments after officials revealed the 53-year-old’s arrest in April.
Carey, a former D.A.R.E. officer with the department, reportedly fondled and sexually molested the youngster after spotting him smoking weed, according to prosecutors.
Carey was already facing 122 accusations going back to 1989 for allegedly sexually abusing four minor boys on several occasions.
The former police is now facing further allegations of involuntary deviant sexual intercourse, statutory sexual assault, indecent assault, endangering the welfare of a child, illegal contact with a minor, minor corruption, and official oppression.
