Memphis rapper Pooh Shiesty, real name Lontrell Williams, decided to withdraw his request to postpone his October 25th trial, according to Rolling Stone. Pooh Shiesty has pleaded not guilty to a four-count federal indictment that could result in a life sentence in prison.’
Williams was arrested and charged in Miami-Dade County, Florida, for his alleged involvement in an armed robbery and shooting. The Atlantic Records artist, along with two 21-year-old men, Bobby Brown and Jayden Darosa, are charged with robbing and shooting two people in October 2020 at the Landon Bay Hotel in Bay Harbor Islands.
According to authorities, Pooh Shiesty and his affiliates proceeded to the hotel to purchase expensive sneakers and marijuana. During the sale, the 21-year-old rapper is accused of shooting one man in the butt cheeks and the other in the hip. Both people survived, but the sneakers and marijuana were taken.
