A woman is facing an arson charge after Lake County deputies say she attempted to burn down her ex-boyfriend’s home (shed), according to Click Orlando.

According to the  arrest report, cops were called to a home on East Highland Avenue in Clermont over the weekend.

According to records, the ex-boyfriend lives in a shed behind the house and told detectives that he saw a blaze at the shed’s entrance. According to deputies, the man was able to put out the flames that were coming from a burning curtain and saw Shakeemah Jackson fleeing.

According to investigators, they apprehended Jackson at a nearby store and asked her about the blaze. Jackson informed officers that she and the victim had broke up four days and that she had not been near the shed in quite a while.

The 35 year old woman then stated out of the blue, “I wish he would die. I wish he was dead,” according to deputies.

Eventually, Jackson admitted to being the on that set the curtain on fire, records show. She has been charged with arson and is being held on a $10,000 bond at the Lake County Jail.
