According to new legal documents, former “Grey’s Anatomy” star Jesse Williams is having his monthly child support payments reduced significantly after his income plummeted following his departure from the show.
According to the documents obtained by TMZ, Jesse’s original monthly payments of $40,000 have been “temporarily modified” to $6,413 in response to the actor’s request last month.Embed from Getty Images
He requested that his monthly payments be reduced because his transition from TV to Broadway had a significant impact on his bottom line. Telling the court that he was actually earning $1,668 per week on Broadway with the production “Take Me Out.”
Jesse and ex-wife Aryn Drake-Lee managed to reach a child custody agreement at the end of February. The judge denied her plea to reduce his physical time with the children.Embed from Getty Images
When Jesse’s show concludes in the summer, the two will return to court to resolve the remaining problems in their case.
