According to Page Six, former HGTV host Christopher Dionne was sentenced to three years in prison for molesting a 10-year-old girl during a sleepover at his home in Connecticut in 2017.

Dionne, 37—who hosted the “Family Flip” pilot episode for the home improvement network — has maintained his innocence and is expected to appeal his conviction for fourth-degree sexual assault and the risk of injury to a minor.

Following his prison term, Dionne must serve ten years of probation and register as a sex offender, as per the Hartford Courant, a judge ruled on Wednesday.

Dionne’s victim, now 12 years old, told jurors during his trial that she was the best friend of his daughter’s and was sleeping in their family home when she was assaulted in November 2017.

The girl said that Dionne had molested her multiple times, while his two children, then his 10-year-old daughter and his 14-year-old son, were sleeping in the same room.
