Updated 5/11/21: Tara Nicole Vinson, 26, allegedly pulled up to her ex’s home in Fayetteville, North Carolina, on Friday and opened fire, according to the victim Kelia Horton’s cousin Jadaiah Farris.
In a phone interview on Monday, Farris disclosed that after shooting Horton multiple times, Vinson was overheard claiming that the shots were intended for her ex-boyfriend, who was not at the residence at the time, according to the Daily Mail.
According to Farris, while Vinson and Horton were soldiers at Fort Bragg, they barely knew each other and ‘never argued’ before the deadly altercation.
‘They weren’t friends or rivals,’ she stated.
