Gary Busey allegedly engaged in inappropriate behavior with several women at a fan convention, including grabbing buttocks and actively trying to undo one woman’s bra, prompting charges against the actor.
Police were dispatched to a DoubleTree Hotel in New Jersey on August 13 after two women stated the actor sexually assaulted them.
Busey was reportedly taking photographs with the women while on location for a Monster Mania fan event. According to legal papers obtained by TMZ, one of the women claims Busey approached her boobs and asked her where she got those. He allegedly then tried to unhook her bra strap. The other woman claimed he grabbed her butt.
The next day, cops say they received a call from a man reporting that his daughter was also sexually assaulted by Busey at the event, and that Busey gripped her buttocks as well.
According to court documents, when cops first approached Busey about the accusations, he denied fondling anyone.
Then, according to reports, Busey asked to offer an apology to the women before, “claiming that it is sometimes possible to accidentally touch someone in a specific body part.”
Busey has been charged with several counts of criminal sexual contact as well as one count of harassment.
