A shocking video of a man pushing her 11-year-old son off his bike was released. That 48-year-old suspect is now facing charges.

A grown man yelled at a young boy before pushing him off his bike. Daniel, an 11-year-old boy, crumbled in anguish. Police have arrested

The suspect is seen on video pushing sixth-grader Daniel Duncan off his bike while yelling, “Get the f*** off your bike!” James Chapman and charged him with assault, endangering a child, and breach of the peace.

A separate video from earlier that day showed Chapman interrogating Daniel in a different part of town, with Chapman demanding to know whether Daniel “[grew] up in Connecticut,” and telling him to “get the f*** out of his town” when he said no.

“Daniel is afraid to leave the house. He’s terrified to leave the house,” said Desiree Dominique, the victim’s mother.

The attack comes less than a month after a town sign was defaced with racial epithets. Desiree believes her biracial son was assaulted because of his race. She asserts that the emotional impact will outlast his scrapes and bruises.

“The trauma will stay with him for a while,” she said. “Those are the wounds that take the longest to heal.”
