5 Oklahoma City Cops Charged with Manslaughter for Fatal Shooting of 15-Year-Old

On Wednesday, five Oklahoma City cops were charged with manslaughter in the November fatal shooting of a 15-year-old teen.

Stavian Rodriguez was shot 13 times by officers responding to a call of an alleged armed robbery at an Oklahoma convenience store on Nov. 23.

Rodriguez was seen on surveillance video captured by local media dropping his gun during the confrontation outside the shop.

Before being shot, he lifts his hands, then lowers them.

Five other officers then “unnecessarily fired] deadly bullets at Stavian Rodriguez, hitting him several times and causing fatal damage,” according to an affidavit from the Oklahoma City District Attorney’s office.
