During the early hours of Sunday morning, a mass shooting occurred in St. Paul, Minnesota. A young woman was killed and at least 14 others were injured in the incident, which occurred at the Seventh Street Truck Park bar and food venue.
According to St. Paul Police spokesperson Steve Linders, a woman in her 20s was discovered dead when officers arrived on the scene.
The remaining 14 victims were taken to area hospitals and are expected to recover. At this time, no names of the victims have been made available to the public.
Linders characterized the ramifications of the shooting in explicit terms, calling it “hellish” and “nothing short of a tragedy.”
