According to the Clayton County Sheriff’s Office, a chase ended with one man being apprehended at the home of a well-known hip hop artist in Fayette County.

Authorities say a 13-year-old called 911 to report a man armed with a handgun attempting to enter a residence.

Deputies noticed the suspect, who attempted to escape, resulting in a high-speed chase. The pursuit came to an end near the intersection of Old National Highway and Highway 138, near the estate of rapper Rick Ross.

Deputies noticed the perpetrator run through the wood line and onto Ross’s property.

Estate security let deputies onto the property, where the accused was apprehended minutes later. Deputies are still looking for the weapon the suspect was carrying when he entered the estate.

“Sheriff Victor Hill has enjoyed Ross’ music over the years, but the two did not meet today due to Ross being out of town,” they said in a statement.
