Rapper Hurricane Chris Indicted on Second-Degree Murder Charge
‘A Bay Bay’ Rapper Hurricane Chris Indicted On 2nd-Degree Murder Charge
The 31-year-old Christopher Jerron Dooley dubbed “Hurricane Chris” was indicted on murder charges by a Caddo Parish Grand Jury.
The rapper from Shreveport is accused of killing 32-year-old Danzeria Ferris Jr. on the night of June 19th at a convenience store on Hearne Avenue in Hollywood. Dooley was arrested on a charge of second degree murder. He is also suspected of possessing a stolen 2016 Mercedes sedan.
The police said the rapper initially reported that he had shot a man he thought was trying to steal his car. It appeared that video footage proved otherwise, police reportedly said.
