As she was being detained, a lady suspected of killing her husband stated she “should have stabbed him more.”

Penelope Jackson, 66, is on trial at Bristol Crown Court for the murder of her 78-year-old husband David on February 13 this year at their house in Parsonage Road, Berrow, Somerset.

Jackson admits manslaughter but denies murder in an event that occurred barely three months after police were called to the Jacksons’ home over a disagreement over Mr. Jackson’s pacemaker management.

She was apprehended after calling 911 (999) and telling the operator that she had stabbed Mr. Jackson “three times.”
