According to the US Geological Survey, a magnitude 4.3 earthquake struck Southern California at 7:58 p.m. Friday.

The epicenter of the quake was in Carson, Los Angeles County.

Some people have reported feeling a shock that lasted from a few seconds to up to ten seconds across the vicinity. It was felt all the way from nearby cities like Santa Monica, Torrance, and Beverly Hills to the Antelope Valley, an hour’s drive north and south to Orange County, and possibly further.
