Cardi B, 29, admitted to having suicidal thoughts following what was written about her in her ongoing libel lawsuit against blogger Tasha K, TMZ reported on Thursday.

‘I wanted to commit suicide over the things,’ the rapper, whose real name is Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, reportedly said on the stand in a Georgia courtroom.

‘I felt defeated and depressed and I didn’t want to sleep with my husband,’ she continued. At the time, Cardi had recently welcomed daughter Kulture with rapper husband Offset.

According to the hip hop star, her depression made her feel as though she ‘didn’t deserve her kid.’

I felt like only a demon could do that s**t,’ she answered before reportedly apologizing to the judge for using foul language

Cardi and Tasha K have been squabbling in court for years over misinformation the blogger allegedly spread about the rapper, including that she contracted STIs and did work as a prostitute.

Tasha’s posts from 2018 and 2019 are at the heart of the Grammy winner’s lawsuit.

Cardi sued Tasha and Starmarie Ebony Jones in 2019 over a series of scandalous allegations involving substance abuse, sexual diseases, and prostitution that were discussed in over 20 videos on the blogger’s YouTube channel.

According to one clip published in April 2018, while Cardi was pregnant with her first child, the baby may have intellectual disabilities.

The rumor was that the A-list rapper was abusing drugs that would harm the then-unborn child. Kulture Kiari, the couple’s daughter, was born in July.

Additionally, Starmarie reportedly uploaded a clip accusing Cardi of using cocaine and MDMA in addition to prostitution.

Latasha K then countersued Cardi, alleging the A-lister threatened to have her violently attacked by gang members; however, the case was dismissed by a judge over the summer.

Latasha K couldn’t show that Cardi threatened her or made her believe that she was going to hurt her, TMZ said at the time. The judge sided with the mother of two, Cardi B.

The plaintiff only said that people who may be related to Cardi made these threats, and he didn’t show that the threats were made by Cardi or any of her employees.

Despite never being in the same room, Latasha K ‘claimed Cardi attacked her’ and  she expressed fear for her life, according to TMZ.
