Man Flees Courtroom and Jumps Off 6th Floor Balcony In Escape Attempt (Image: Screenshot/YouTube/NBC4)
A newly released video shows an Ohio convicted criminal skipping his sentencing hearing and leaping over a balcony.
Donald Mullins, 44, of Columbus, is seen fleeing from two officers in the footage, which was captured by three courtroom surveillance cameras. Before leaping over a balcony rail on the sixth story, he seems to let go of a radio that was attached to one of the officer’s uniforms.
Mullins appeared in court last Thursday on aggravated burglary, robbery, and theft charges. His DNA was detected on an Oreo cookie at the crime scene, and he was declared guilty.
