Kanye West has canceled his appearance at Coachella, according to a source close to the artist who spoke to CNN on Monday.
West, who now goes by the alias Ye, was scheduled to perform alongside Billie Eilish and Harry Styles at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.
West decided not to take the stage because of his divorce from Kim Kardashian and his quarrel with “Daily Show” host Trevor Noah, according to the source.
West has turned to social media in recent weeks to air his frustrations about his co-parenting concerns with Kardashian.
He was banned from Instagram for 24 hours after using a racial epithet in response to Noah’s complaint about West’s rift with Kardashian.
According to multiple sources tight to the artists, Ye’s performance at the Grammy Awards on Sunday was also eliminated due to his “online behavior.”
Despite the fact that Ye was not present at the ceremony, he was awarded two Grammys.
The annual event takes place at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, over two weekends this year, on April 15-17 and April 22-24.
West had threatened to pull out of Coachella earlier this year after Eilish made a remark he mistook for a jab at Travis Scott, which Eilish denied.
