Kevin Samuels died of hypertension, ruling out any suspicious circumstances surrounding the 57-year-old’s death.
The Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office has recently announced the findings of Samuels’ death, stating that he died as a result of hypertension, or high blood pressure. According to the ME, “evidence of hypertension includes a heart with thicker chambers than usual.”
The ME noted in its results that Samuels was also taking a medicine called Atenolol, which is used to manage hypertension.
Samuels’ death was ruled to have been caused by natural causes. Samuels, famed for his outspoken opinions about dating, passed in May.
Samuels died at his home after collapsing while with an unknown woman. We received the woman’s 911 call, and it was evident that she was frantic to assist save his life, administering CPR to attempt to rescue Samuels.
Social media speculation speculated that Kevin’s death was mysterious, however the medical examiner’s results show that this is not the case.
