In 2009, Damon Weaver made history when he had a chance to take a trip to the White House to interview President Barack Obama for 10 minutes..

Weaver was only 11 years old when he interviewed Obama  on August 13, 2009, asking questions about lunch programs, bullying, resolving conflicts, and how to achieve success, according to the Hill.

He later used that meeting to interview Oprah Winfrey and athletes such as Dwyane Wade.

His family broke the news, revealing that he died from natural causes on May 1. His sister, Candace Hardy, told the Palm Beach Post that he was studying communications at Albany State University in Georgia.
