In July of this year, Kodak Black, whose real name is Bill K. Kapri, was driving a purple Dodge Durango with an expired license when Florida Highway Patrol noticed the car had windows tints “that appeared to be darker than the legal limit,” according to a news release from the department.
During a records check, it was also discovered that the vehicle’s registration had expired, according to CNN.
According to the release, when police searched the car, they discovered nearly $75,000 in cash and a small plastic bag containing 31 white oxycodone tablets.
According to the CDC, oxycodone is a type of opioid drug that treats pain and is potentially highly addictive.
