28-Year-Old Woman Charged in The Shooting Death of Ex-Husband's Girlfriend in Las Vegas

Shamiya Todd, 28, was detained by Las Vegas police in connection with a shooting that killed a young lady on Wednesday night, according to KTNV.

Arriving cops saw a woman, subsequently identified as 28-year-old Shamiya Todd, shouting on an upper balcony. According to authorities, Todd was detained, and officers entered the home and discovered an adult female suffering from apparent gunshot wounds, reported KVVU.

According to authorities, the investigation revealed that the shooting was the consequence of a love triangle. According to authorities, the inquiry also revealed that Todd was the assailant.

Todd was taken into custody and booked into the Clark County Detention Center on one count of open murder.

The Clark County Coroner’s office will reveal the victim’s identity later, as well as the cause and manner of death.
