
An alleged love triangle turned tragic early Tuesday, when a man was shot and killed inside a Southwest Philadelphia residence by a guy who authorities suspect used to date the deceased’s girlfriend.
According to Philadelphia Police Chief Inspector Scott Small, the ex-boyfriend stormed into a home in the Kingsessing area at 1:30 a.m. and barged up to a second-floor bedroom.
According to eyewitnesses, once upstairs, the gunman began arguing with a 26-year-old male before shooting him numerous times in the chest.
The shooting victim, Arnold Kirksey of Folcroft, Pennsylvania, was lifeless and bleeding profusely when authorities arrived a minute later, according to authorities. Kirksey died in the hospital a soon afterward.
According to authorities, an ex-boyfriend was the one who reportedly shot the new boyfriend of a woman who lives in the residence.
On Wednesday, police said that they had made the arrest and seized a handgun.
